The Wiseberry Foundation’s Objectives

Wiseberry Foundation Limited (The Wiseberry Foundation) raises money and hosts events to provide financial and educational assistance to:

  • People suffering from financial hardship including, but not limited to, as a result of a natural disaster;
  • The homeless;
  • People with disability;
  • People suffering from sickness; and
  • People who can benefit from the provision of education

The Wiseberry Foundation Limited acknowledges and respects the privacy of individuals and as such makes every efforts to comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (“Privacy Act”).

It is important that you regularly visit our privacy policy available on this website as its content may be updated from time to time without notice as part of our commitment to ensuring that it complies with legislative and other requirements.

As part of our objectives, we collect, use and share information including personal information, sensitive information and other information for all purposes intended to advance our objectives as referred to in the Privacy Statement and Privacy Policy.

Sensitive information means information that may not identify a specific person but includes important information about a person such as a person’s race, religion, political opinions, affiliations, philosophy, memberships, health, genetic or criminal record etc.

With whom do we share collected information:

We will share information we collect with third parties including contractors, volunteers, health service provider partners, corporate partners, marketing and promotion organisations as well as IT administrators and other service providers to allow us to provide our services, to promote our objectives. We will share collected information for purposes related to promotion and marketing, to let you know about products and services from corporate partners that we feel might be of interest to you. These communications may be in the form of email, SMS, mail and fax, from us or our corporate partners. If you do not wish to receive direct marketing information, please tell us by emailing us at charity@wiseberry.com.au or follow the opt-out route as indicated on marketing communications. The Wiseberry Foundation may also use ‘Cloud Computing’ services to manage its information and those resources may be located in whole or in part outside Australia.

We may disclose personal information to service providers located overseas where our data hosting and other IT and email service providers are stored on an overseas server. We may disclose your personal information to entities within Australia who may store your data overseas. In the unlikely event that a disclosure is made to an overseas recipient, the information may not be protected by the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). By providing your details however you consent to your information being disclosed in this manner.


For what purposes do we collect, hold, use and disclose/share your information:

We will collect and use all information submitted to us for the purpose of advancing our objectives that are set out earlier in this policy. This purpose may include the sending of tax invoices, receipts and/or registration forms.


Information Logged:

The Wiseberry Foundation operates the website with outsourced technical assistance.

When visiting this site, a record of your visit is logged and information automatically recorded. We may collect information for statistical purposes to find out how our website is used and navigated, including the number of hits, the frequency and duration of use, to discover what information is most and least used. Knowing what is useful to you enables us to make the website more helpful, to provide better services, to improve its performance and to increase its effectiveness.
